Leaf-Lookers Guide

Autumn colors come early to Wyoming typically starting shortly after Labor Day. By mid-September, the Wyoming mountains, east and west are at their peak. The predominant color you'll see is the shimmering gold of the quaking aspen complimented by the sedate yellow of the cottonwoods. Here and there you may see the startling red of a maple trying to make its impression.
