Leaf-Lookers Guide

From early October, throughout the fall colors season and well beyond, the Tennessee Central Railway Museum has scheduled excursions down the Nashville & Eastern Railroad track to Cookeville, Lebanon, Silver Point and Watertown. They use modern air-conditioned rail cars pulled by well-maintained vintage diesel locomotives. Some dome cars are also available. This is very popular so it is necessary to make your reservations well before the autumn leaves season. Contact them at 615-244-9001 for reservations and/or additional information. They have an excellent web site at tcry.org which we strongly recommend.

Most accommodations in area hotels and motels are 'booked up' during the leaf season. If you haven't made your hotel/motel reservations yet we have included access to an on-line reservation system for your convenience.
