During the month of October - and into November - the entire state of Tennessee bursts out in bright yellows, oranges, reds and purples. Those trees most favored for autumn leaf color viewing are everywhere. And you don't have to go in search of the 2-lane back-country roads, either. Though all the Interstates are lined with trees in Tennessee, I-81, from its beginning at I-40 east of Knoxville all the way to Bristol, is especially beautiful in October.
