Autumn colors in Kentucky start appearing around the end of September and continue through October into November. Bright yellows, oranges, reds and purples, trees most favored for autumn leaf color viewing are everywhere. And you don't have to go in search of the 2-lane back-country roads, either. Though all the Interstates are lined with trees in Kentucky, I-75 north out of Knoxville, Tennessee, to Lexington, Kentucky, is especially beautiful in October.
